Welcome to Adelaide PEN
Adelaide PEN is part of International PEN - a worldwide association that works to advocate free speech and promote literature.
PEN fights for freedom of expression, both in times of peace and particularly in times of political or international upheaval. It promotes friendship and intellectual co-operation among writers everywhere, no matter what their ethnic origin, nationality, language, colour or religion.
In doing so, PEN represents the conscience of world literature.
